Felt is the fabric which is formed when wool is subjected to heat, moisture, and agitation. Using a washing machine with a tsp. of soap, the smallest load setting, the soiled setting, and hot water will felt your knitted or crocheted piece. Some pieces may require more than one wash to felt appropriately. Beware—felting will shrink your piece so be sure to test before. Happy Felting!
