Nuboo yarn

I love the look and especially the feel of the yarn. It is very fluid and drapes beautifully. Unfortunately, it splits very easily which makes it harder to work with. I have had to pull out many stitches because of a Loose thread being left out of a stitch. I wish the spin of the yarn was tighter. Out of the 9 skeins I purchased, one was complete different, lighter and more mauve. Overall, the good outweighs the bad and I'm thinking the finished product will be worth frustration of having the yarn split so much. I will let you know...

Provides for a weighted drape

Although many comments on this yarn for being splitty and hard to handle, I found that this is easily resolved by using bamboo hooks and or plastic hooks. The other issue was securing ends to last through washings, which can be resolved by weaving ends in the yarn fiber, not around it or hiding behind it. This technique is also done in knitting. The colors are amazing and I wished that there were even more colors to select from.

• 100% lyocell. Machine wash. Imported.
• 3 oz/85g/157 yd ball.
• Crochet gauge, size I-9 (5.5mm) hook: 17 sc and 20 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
• Knit gauge in st st, size 7 (4.5mm) needles: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
