"I haven`t used this yet, but Lily Sugar`n Cream is just a good basic yarn for many uses. I just wanted this on my shelf so that when I want it, I have it!!! My yarn room is always well supplied!! "

"I've made crocheted (regular and Tunisian), knitted and now that I'm learning to weave on a rigid heddle loom, I'm using Sugar n' Cream to make tea towels. They work up beautifully on my 8 dent reed, especially the variegated colors! Because they're 100% cotton- a natural fiber - I would suggest gentle washing and a milder soap so as to help maintain the integrity of the fiber's quality. I've made everything from bath soap bar "pockets" to dishclothes and they've lasted."

"I've used lily yarn for many years and love it. Strong, many color options, objects made withstand many washings. But, having trouble finding it in the hobby stores, they usually only have a few selections. Herrschners please don't stop carrying this, you're my only source right now for varieties of color and numbers of skeins. Thanks. "

"I bought a cone of the Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn, in the Potpourri color. I made hot pads, and a crocheted sponge. I tested the sponge and it worked just fine!! Then, I watched as the creamy color began to turn pink. Yes, the red flecks in the yarn bled. I'm glad I didn't throw the item in with some laundry. I haven't had to deal with 'bleeding' in ... 40+ years. I have NOT washed any of the other items, made from their other color yarns. "
