"It is perfect for your lap. The only drawback is the size of the dowels, they were not long enough for the piece I am working on, I had to improvise and fold my piece which limits my working space."

"I love stitching on this frame; I have recently purchased my 4th and 5th frames and always keep kits framed and ready to stitch so that I have projects on the go always."

"Couldn't wait to get this frame. Great quality; however using it is not as comfortable as I had hoped. It tends to rock backward,. To hold it still, I have found placing to the outside of your knees while sitting and then pressing knees outward help hold it in place. Otherwise, your non-dominant forearm ends up curling toward you constantly to help hold the frame from rocking back. Quality of wood is definitely 3 or 4 stars, but as far as it being comfortable to use only 2 stars ."

"Great idea, but... This lap stitch frame is a great idea, but the reality of trying to use it with a fairly large project is not good. It is very sturdy and has fabric pre-stapled to the dowels for easy basting of your project. Sadly, it is actually very awkward to try to use and if your project is wider than the dowels, the fabric does not stay tight. Sorry to have to return it :-("
