"I mostly make potholders for donations. I have a specific pattern and this thread as always been my go to. I really appreciate the quality and the flow when I am crocheting. I usually use three strands of #10 or two strands of #3 and #1. "

"I really enjoy using this thread, 100 percent cotton in a wide selection of solid and multi colored balls. I am more of a knitter than a crocheter, but this thread serves well for both. I used to use South Maid, but that seems to have disappeared ages ago, so it is great to have Aunt Lydias!"

"I have always made potholders for gifts. This year I am making potholders for those that have lost their homes during the fires. Building new homes takes time and I try to have something for their kitchens. Aunt Lydia and Herrschners own have done quite well. Prices are such that I can donate the potholders. Thank you for the quality."

"I've been using Aunt Lydia's Classic 10 for many years and have many containers of this thread of every color produced. It is an excellent 3-ply thread that is strong and durable, but because of the dye some colors do not glide across my steel hook as easily as others. Truthfully, I now prefer crocheting with HL's Artiste, an equally good thread having a lovely sheen, smooth as butter, which is much easier to work with now that I'm plagued with arthritic hands. However, I still use Aunt Lydia."
