"bernat softee chunky is my favorite yarn i've used so far!! i have not been working with yarn for very long, only about three months, but this size 6 bernat yarn is definitely my go-to for my crocheting (which is mostly amigurumi). despite the extra shipping cost, i loved stocking up on it through herrschners because it was cheaper than michael's, which is where i would normally buy it, plus the selection is much bigger here!! it came in good time in perfect condition, so i'm definitely happy! "Purchased the Somerset color as a primary color for a wave blanket, then matched the solids to go with it. Absolutely perfect color match, so happy. Also, I received a birthday discount coupon the day after I purchased, so I emailed customer service and asked if I could apply to my purchase and they did. I consider this excellent service. Herrschners is great."

"This is THE best blanket yarn. It’s so soft and thick and warm. The price point is reasonable and I plan on using this yarn for more blankets in the future"

"The last time I crocheted anything was 35 years ago...I taught myself how to make an Afghan from written directions then life happened. Now I have a grandson who wraps up in a store bought blanket on wintery mornings before school. When I saw “School yard” I knew I had to make him an Afghan...nice, chunky yarn that worked up “fast” thanks to YouTube gal’s tutorial. I am again motivated to try more things and am attempting the “magic circle” next....ugh"
