"The yarn is NOT WOOL. I am buying wool yarn locally to substitute."

"I was a little surprised when I opened the kit and saw that it was all done with embroidery thread. It is one of the most detailed stockings I have ever done but it is turning out beautifully. The colors are so vivid! I also had a little trouble differentiating the shades of blue but I put it against a white cardboard and that helped."

"Happy Snowman Stocking This one is probably my favorite Christmas stocking kit. The colors are gorgeous; the thread is bright and easy to use and It turns out beautiful every time. I have done several and my last one is the best. I've even cut the left side straight down eliminating the toe area. It made a wonderful "WELCOME ALL" sign for a snowman lover. I love it especially when it is on sale. Try it, you WILL like it."

"I purchased this stocking and was disappointed in it. First it was my fault that I didn't notice th at it was stamped counted cross stitch instead of just counted cross stitch. Second, I am having trouble figuring out the colors on the canvas. Some of the colors are so near the same shade it is hard, even in good lighting."

"avoid I am a fairly experienced with needlepoint. This looks adorable in the picture but the colors are very poorly inked onto the canvas. The sky colors cannot be differentiated even in the brightest light and unless you are used to working with a chart, the directions are complicated. I do not recommend this product."
