Dimensions® Penguin Felted Character Needle Felting Kit

Item 140105
Even beginners will find it easy to create 3-D figures with Dimensions needle felting kits. Create this three-dimensional Penguin Felted Character using simple freeform needle felting techniques. Finished size: 2.5” x 2.5”. This needle felting kit includes everything you need:
• 100% wool roving
• Felting needle
• Felting mat
• Easy step-by-step instructions. NOTE: As this is a freeform project, no molds or stencils are included.

You will need about 8 grams total to make a bird.
• Before starting to work, divide the roving as needed to ensure having enough to complete all the parts. For example, you will need separate amounts of black for the body, the two wings, and the tail, likewise separate amounts of roving for the beak and feet.• When working the beak, roll the end of the roving between your fingers to create a point, then needle it, repeating as necessary.
• To help your bird sit upright, needle the bottom until it is firm and flat.

"He is so cute! was fairly easy to do. I will order more of these. Had a little hard time at first, but once I got used to doing the felting it was fun."
