"I purchased this hoping I could still work on a project with having one hand in a cast. the frame is working out wonderful. I am able to adjust the screws one handed, however the wood is a soft wood & didn't hold the square on the screw when tightening the wing nut, so some of mine just spin & don't tighten all the way. It would be a nice enhancement to have a metal nut embedded into the hole to hold the screw or put a slot in the screw so it could be held with a screw driver"

"I have been using this frame constantly for over 3 years. It holds the work at the perfect distance and can be adjusted height-wise for the shorter person. It only comes with one set of slit dowels, so if your work is wider you might want to buy another set at the craft store and have them cut to length and slit. After 3 years of flipping the frame back and forth while working, the center screw has loosen its tension. However, that is a lot of flipping and may be expected. "

"I am pleased with the size and weight of the item and the way it works overall. The one issue is the slit where you slide your project into was not sanded down so it had slivers into the project, nor was it very wide so getting the project into the dowels was quite difficult. Luckily, hubby was able to do some finishing touches to make it workable. If you don't have sand paper, I would hesitate on this item."

"Its a very good idea. But it didnt work very good for me. It needs more adjustable holes, and a way to angle it in different ways."
