"I like using this as it allows me the ability to work on larger projects without moving a hoop several times, or leaving crease marks on the material. I do have one serious suggestion to make this a perfect product. Put a something in the hole that will hold the head of the screw in place when tightening wing nuts without damaging the wood. That's the only problem I have with it."

"I purchased the Split Rail Frame to take on vacation to the lake. I am very pleased with this purchase. With fine linen and needlepoint canvas there is slippage at one corner. My solution was to cut thin wedges of tag board (cereal box) to hold material in place. This worked fairly well. My pieces traveled well in a cloth case with cardboard lining. I would recommend this embroidery frame. "

"I have used these for years and love them. I do like the knobs and not the wing nuts. I love the small 6 inch, use it for bookmarks and small ornaments. They work well with the lap stand and the floor stands. I would not cross stitch without them. "

"The dowels can't be tightened enough to prevent them from slipping. One wide spreader was 11.5 inches wide and another was 12.5 inches wide. The 12.5 inch spreader was not cut through one hole. In short I can't use the wider spreaders. When I complained to the Edmunds company that makes this they told me I was wrong I was doing something wrong. Don't waste your money on this item."
