"This yarn is pretty standard. Better $ would be spent on Red Heart. My big disappointment with the Aran yarn is that every skein has had multiple joining knots throughout. I wouldn’t purchase again."

"Great yarn, but the color sandstone I ordered is way too dark for the pattern I'll be working on. I have to order a lighter color, probably Aran and hope that it does the trick. "

"I'm very disappointed with feel of this yarn. It's very scratchy...to the point that I have keep moving the strand on my tension hand so that it doesn't get rubbed raw. I frogged my sweater because I knew it wouldn't be wearable...too scratchy. On the positive side, thought, I agree that the yarn doesn't split and it works up with very nice stitch definition. I would not buy this yarn again."

"This is a nice weight yarn and easy to work with. Unfortunately the quality is not consistent - some skeins were soft and others were stiff/scratchy feeling. PLUS most of the skeins had two or more knots, some of which were a mess, so I had to actually cut the knot out (which made for extra work in hiding the additional connections)."

"The Aran yarn I ordered was a beautiful sky blue, but occasionally there was a very dark blue spot in the yarn that most of the time I was able to pick out. The yarn is scratchy and unfortunately made in China. The yarn did not split though. "
