"I saw the picture and ordered this kit as I really liked the colors. I started when I got the kit and I too had a different stitch count than the pattern indicated so I tried again with the same results so I continued on ignoring what the pattern said. I am now at the marigold (yellow) yarn and only had enough to finish 5 rows so I will order more yarn and try to guesstimate the amounts of additional yarn I need to finish the project. "

"I was excited to receive this kit and started immediately! It's easy and is working up nicely. However; the stitch count at the end of Row 7 states you should have 66 dc and in fact, you have 92. I started over 3 times and finally took leftover yarn, worked 8 rows again and came out with the same stitch count each time. You can see if the stitch count In the instructions were correct you're shawl would not be very big. I will now ignore the stitch count hoping I don't run out of yarn. "
