"I finished this afghan and am satisfied how it turned out. The instructions were terrible but despite that it looks pretty good."

"Finally finished this afghan. I've been crocheting for almost 50 years but still learned new things while doing this. I felt the instructions were not detailed enough when it came to counting stitches. When starting reverse single crochet, do I skip first and last stitches? I found this detail left out in other rows also. My sides are uneven and I think that may be the problem. However, tho it is uneven, the finally finished product is very pretty, but it won't be a gift as I had hoped."

"I do love this afghan. It has been a real challenge for me. I have been crocheting for over 50 years and the new stitches are very interesting. I have pulled some stitches out a couple of times until I figured out what I was supposed to do. I agree there are some glitches in the pattern but I love a challenge."

"I have been crocheting for over 55 years - I am finding this pattern very difficult due to the way it was written. The specific aspects I do not like are: 1. the colors are not as vibrant in reality as they are in the photo, 2. switching between hook sizes, and 3. the lack of number references in the pattern at the appropriate locations - I found myself having to add stitch descriptions to try to figure out how many stitches per row . Frustration level with this pattern is high!"

"I will start out by saying that the afghan is beautiful. The yarn is nicer than I expected as I don’t usually buy a kit. Now to the real important information. There are so many errors in these instructions. I am not a young woman, and have been crocheting for over 50 years. As someone else commented, if you are not sure of what you are doing, this kit is not for you. For over 80 rows the Right side is odd numbered rows. Later row 87 is the wrong side. And constantly changing the hook size! "
