"My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was a little girl. Then life happened and I was busy being a mom and then working full time. Now that I’ve retired, I am rediscovering the joy of creating heirloom beauties that are beautiful as well as serving a practical purpose. The Herrschners’ kits are the perfect way of getting back into crochet. Patterns and yarn with well written patterns — and I’m flying! Love them!"

"I instantly fell in love with this pattern as soon as i saw it, and i just had to buy it. The colors are beautiful, and i'm still in the process of making it, and its kept me busy. The Pattern itself is written fairly confusingly, I would say there may be typos. I think pictures would help greatly. All in all, i have be able to understand, or at least figure out how everything works. I'm excited to see it to the end."

"I was excited to make this for my mother in-law because she loves southwestern designs. 2/3 of it went well but getting the lengths of the stripes to match up is near impossible. I keep redoing rows and just get frustrated. I have moved on to other projects. Hopefully someday I'll have the patience to finish it!"

"The design is pretty but the directions are terrible. I think the only reason it’s an intermediate pattern is because you have to interpret the directions. The “diamond” pattern makes a triangle. "

"this pattern is so vague and you are left to figure out a lot of it, it does not show you how to join them or where to join, i am having to rely on the main picture to get me through this, if you are a beginner this pattern is not for you, i will probably not do this pattern again if i ever get through it, the yarn is amazing and i enjoy working with it, the main issue is the pattern "
