"Very nice kit. I really like all the kits that herrschners carries. I believe this one is worsted 8 yarn it's good heavier yarn. Makes a really nice afghan. Very happy with this product and would buy again. "

"Found some errors when making this pattern. Easy to follow; however, some of the instructions were a little confusing. Would recommend. Have made three (ordered different shades of teal)."

"This is a beautiful blanket and easy to create. I agree with one reviewer who said the yarn was too light. However, with a standard worsted-weight yarn, I think it might be too heavy especially in North Carolina. I tend to crochet tightly so I moved to a J hook, which is working well. I'm working on the second to last white rows and seem to have enough yarn left to do another afghan. I think I'm going to make another one for my best friend. Thanks for a beautiful kit!"

"I got my start in crochet by doing thread crochet doilies. This is just a giant doily! Everyone who saw this afghan as I progressed asked for it for Christmas. Lots of fun to make, and a lovely afghan by the finish."
