"I really enjoyed crocheting this blanket . I just finished it today , its ashame I can't share a photo that I took today of it. This was my first kit. Wow for me the hardest part of an afghan is picking the right colors , loved it!"

"This pattern is somewhat confusiing. I just made the granny squares and joined as I usually do. Hence, I did not have enough yarn to crochet the way the instructions said. If you are a good crocheter you can just finish your own way which is what I did. The afghan did turn out very nice, just a little different than the picture."

"Confusing pattern directions. I'll cut to the chase, if you know how to make granny squares, change colors, and join squares, than you can do this. The way they instruct to make the squares was confusing particularly the chain 5's on the corners. It leaves gaps and I prefer the ch3,2dc,ch2,3dc to start a new corner. Pattern uses join as you go method but just make the squares and join the way you know how. Yarn is nice, colors are beautiful. Good kit if you tweak pattern to your skill level."

"3 stars because the yarn and colors are lovely. The directions are -10. AWFUL. A granny square is a granny square for God sake. Twice I did a block and and consistently had the same missed stitches in the same 4 rows. Now I know it was not me, thanks previous reviews... Just going to do it like my granny taught me. Do you really need to redo the wheel? "

"At first, when I saw the instructions I did not think it should be rated "easy". After starting it I realized it really is pretty easy to do. I really like the "join as you go" in the pattern and the colors are great!"
