"My daughter picked this out for me to paint for her. It came out beautiful and I personalized it by painting Her name and recipes on one of the book spines. It looked great!!!"

"some reviews say the have to paint some spots more the one time but I did not and it looks good just do not look at close up. would be easier if you did not have to mix colors. "

"This painting was a delight to work on. Several of the numbers needed a second coat to cover the numbers but it was fun to paint."

"Paint by Number To cover the numbers on the white area of Paint By Number kits is to cover the number and the entire white-to-be area with 'witeout' before painting the white areas. Even then you may have to use two coats of witeout then one and even sometimes 2 coats of the white paint It is best to wite-out the ENTIRE white area and not just the numbers this way because the witeout areas will show darker. Also try white OIL paint, it sometimes covers better."

"Pretty But Many Coats Required I bought this to hang in our bedroom, and when finished it will look nice. However, the paints are quite transparent even when stirred and well blended. I am having to do at least 3 coats of most areas. Frustrating!"
