I was happy to here Hereshners was going to carry Big Twist ! Its the same as it always was as this is one of my favorite acrylic yarns for Hexi Cardigans and bucket hats..so glad that the yarn has not changed. Nice yarn for the price and works up well. Does not have that plasticity feel which is what I wanted to avoid.

Im using it for Mosaic Overlay. The colorways are great and the changes between them makes for terrific masterpieces. Please, however, offer this in DK weight!
You can never go wrong with Big Twist. It works up so nicely.
I've always loved blues and browns together. Mountainside is gradient grayish-blue light to brown to beige and black. It is SO PERFECT for my new MOSAIC Project. I can't wait. I wanted the Bit Twist SuperNova in the Terraforming colorway but its not avaiable :( but the MOUNTAINSIDE IS PROBABLY MOOOORRRRRRREEEEEEEEE to my liking..umm, loving .. than Terraforming. Thanks Herrshners you knocked it out of the park again!
I never tried this yarn from JoAnn but I tried it now because I wanted a non-self-striping yarn. It's a big meh as far as I'm concerned and don't understand what the big uproar was over it being discontinued because of JoAnn going out of business. There are much better yarns available.
