Retail Store Associate (Part Time)

Are you artistic and crafty? Do you love sharing your passion for crafts with others? In this position you will inspire and spark creativity through product promotion, demonstration, and compelling visual merchandising.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist and engage customers in store and on the telephone in a polite and friendly manner
  • Ability to resolve customer questions, or concerns per store and company policies
  • Perform sales through basic POS system, process cash, credit, check transactions
  • Maintain accurate inventory through consistent store recovery and maintaining assigned area in store
  • Learn to navigate warehouse aisles, find bin locations for product, and construct kits on the fly following BOMโ€™s
  • Create enticing visual displays using vendor and catalog samples for seasonal resets
  • Identify opportunities to upsell product and promotions
  • Ability to Multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Straighten and maintain a clean store (vacuum, dust, sweep, and sanitize)
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

    • Basic Qualifications

  • Prior retail/cash handling experience required
  • Ability to work day, and weekend shifts (2 weekends per month)
  • Knowledge of craft industry and products related to knitting, crocheting, quilting etc.
  • Individual will possess great communication skills, is reliable, punctual, and cordial
  • Ability to operate computer, web browsers, Microsoft office (word, excel)
  • Maintain clean and neat attire/appearance

    Herrschners is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Email Designer to develop visually engaging email campaigns that inspire customers and support sales. Working closely with our Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams, you'll bring products, seasonal collections, and promotions to life through thoughtful, branded email design.

    The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design, typography, visual hierarchy, and digital layout. They understand how to design clear, compelling email experiences for desktop and mobile while balancing creativity, readability, and promotional goals.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop visually compelling emails.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to execute promotional, lifecycle, and automated email campaigns.
  • Create emails that align with brand standards while meeting campaign objectives.
  • Optimize email layouts based on campaign performance, A/B testing, and best practices.
  • Maintain and update email templates and design assets.
  • Create website and social media graphics as needed.
  • Stay current on email marketing trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.

    • Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience designing marketing emails.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, such as Listrak.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability and accessibility.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    General Warehouse Associate

    The purpose of this position description and job responsibilities is to serve as a general summary and overview of the variety of duties and responsibilities of the job. Therefore, flexibility to work in different warehouse departments and functions as assigned by manager is required.

    A General Warehouse Associate works in multiple areas of warehouse inventory movement including picking and packing, prep line, and shipping functions. Core responsibilities are to fulfill customer orders through various inventory transactions in a timely and organized manner while consistently maintaining order accuracy, production levels and department standards.

    Description

    Picking and Packing functions: Use the customer invoice to locate the necessary product by use of a PDA device. Effectively and efficiently monitor inventory, locate merchandise in racks, place merchandise into proper bins and pull merchandise when assigned.

    Prep line functions: Handling materials, counting, verifying, and preparing kits per product instructions. Accountable for accuracy in counting and verification process of materials.

    Shipping functions: Scanning of customer orders and merchandise, handling multiple packages and moving product in and out of production areas. Responsible for packing the orders in the best possible way to the customer with neatness and accuracy.

    Requirements

  • General math skills with accuracy in recording data.
  • High attention to detail with ability to multi-task and problem solve, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and demonstrate a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds.
