Returns and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return unused merchandise for a full refund or exchange within 60 days. Each order is accompanied by an itemized invoice and complete return instructions. You may also mail your return to:

Please send your package via UPS or insured Parcel Post. Large orders, refused orders, or orders more than 60 days from the purchase date may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% and return shipping costs.

Discounts, coupons, and promotions
Discounts, coupons, and codes for reduced or free shipping are the exclusive property of Herrschners and may not be displayed, cataloged, linked to, or used by any other entity, business, or website without our express permission. Herrschners reserves the right to terminate or modify promotions at any time. “Buy one, get one” promotions are for use on the website only.
P.O. Boxes
If a P.O. Box is provided as the shipping address, delivery can take up to 25 days. All P.O. Box shipments are handed off from our primary carrier to USPS, which can add additional days to delivery. For the fastest and most reliable service, we recommend providing a physical street address whenever possible.
Free shipping on orders or items
Free shipping offers for products or orders are valid only within the contiguous United States and cannot be used for international, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico orders unless explicitly stated otherwise. These promotions cannot be combined with any other coupon or promotion code. Herrschners may terminate promotions early, add shipping charges for large orders, or refuse free shipping for any reason. If there is an issue with free shipping on your order, we will contact you before making any changes.
Large orders
Herrschners reserves the right to review orders exceeding $200 or 75 pounds and apply additional shipping charges if necessary. Should additional shipping be required, we will contact the phone number provided on the order to review costs.
Insured Delivery
For an additional $1.99 per order, you can add Insured Delivery. If your order does not arrive or arrives incomplete, we will replace the missing items at no additional charge. Insured Delivery extends coverage 5 days past the carrier’s delivery date. Limit one per customer. Backordered items are not eligible. Insured Delivery is available for orders shipped to the United States, its territories, and Canada.
Priority Handling & Processing
Need your order quickly? For an additional $4.99 per order, your order will be packed and shipped within 1 business day of being received. Priority Handling & Processing orders are sent via standard shipping; any carrier delays are outside our control. Backordered items are not eligible for this service.
Hawaii orders
Due to logistical considerations, the expected delivery time for orders shipped to Hawaii is approximately 28 days.
International orders
Please note the following for orders shipping outside the United States:
- It is your responsibility to pay all tariffs, duties, and taxes. As of July 1, 2018, a 10% United States surtax may be charged on certain goods manufactured in the U.S. and shipped into Canada. This surtax is paid to the delivery agent before receiving your goods.
- Disney products cannot be ordered outside Canada or the U.S.
- DMC floss and products are not available to be ordered outside Canada or the U.S.
- All orders are subject to merchandise availability; items will not be backordered. Pre-order items are not available outside the U.S.
- We can only ship to countries listed during checkout.
- International delivery typically takes 10–15 business days; some locations may require 4–6 weeks. You will receive an email when your order ships.
- Free shipping and shipping promotions are valid only for the continental U.S. and cannot be redeemed for international orders.
Due to carrier changes, we are currently unable to ship to Australia or New Zealand.
Business customers and large consumer orders
Herrschners may charge actual freight on large orders. These orders do not qualify for free or rush delivery. Returned or refused large orders may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. For questions, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-713-1239.
Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories
Orders shipped to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. territories will be charged an additional $4.95 for shipping and handling.
Canada returns update
- Effective August 29, 2025, to comply with the suspension of the U.S. Tariff Code’s Section 321 “de minimis” exemption, all returns from Canada must be processed through your local Canada Post location to ensure proper customs procedures are followed and duties are paid.
- Due to current U.S. tariff requirements, we are no longer able to issue credits or refunds for Canadian orders that are refused at delivery or deemed by the carrier as “Undeliverable as Addressed.”
Israel orders
Due to a policy change with our cross-border shipping partner, we are temporarily unable to fulfill orders for delivery to Israel. We are working with our partners to restore service as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.
