This is the easiest star blanket I’ve made. The directions were very well written. I haven’t made one in 5 years so I was a little rusty.

This is the easiest star blanket I’ve made. The directions were very well written. I haven’t made one in 5 years so I was a little rusty.

Description

A combination of double crochet and chain stitches worked in the round creates a fun star-shaped pattern of radiating rows in light weight yarn.
Skill Level: Easy
Stitches Used: Chain, slip stitch, double crochet
Techniques Used: Working in the round, changing colors
Size: 50" (127cm) dia.
Materials: Pattern as shown is made with 3 colors of Herrschners Kids' Brites yarn. With this yarn, the pattern uses 8 total balls of yarn. Any light weight yarn may be used, though the number of balls used will vary depending on the size of the ball.
Hook: US size G-6 (4mm) hook or size needed to obtain gauge
