Lanarte

Lanarte is at heart a family business. Established as a tailoring business by Augustinus Vergnes in 1934, the Dutch company expanded when Vergnes opened a store for each of his six sons in the 1950s. The sons expanded the business further, establishing the wholesale branch Lanarte (combining the Italian words for “wool” and “art”) in the 1970s.

Today, the Vergnes family supplies high-quality needlework kits to more than 40 countries worldwide. The Lanarte brand is renowned for beautifully translating original paintings into detailed designs for the advanced cross-stitcher.
