I was disappointed when I did not get a crochet pattern with the hats. There was only a knit pattern. This is not explained in the directions.

• Crochet gauge, size I-9 (5.5mm) hook: 14 sc and 17 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
• Knit gauge in st st, size 9 (5.5mm) needles: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
